Online Account Help Centre: Registration

We're gradually making our online account available to more customers. You've received an email inviting you to register because you have a policy that can be managed online. This means you can choose to receive your policy documents in a paperless format.

You can still talk to us when you need us - it's just another way to manage your NFU Mutual insurance.

It can take up to 15 minutes for the email with your secure link to arrive. If you haven't receive an email after 15 minutes, please check: 

1. You have a broadband or mobile data connection on the device you're using.
2. That the email has not gone into your junk or spam folder.
3. That you are registering with the email address we hold for you. If you're not sure get in touch to check or change it.
4. If you are confident that you are registering with an email we hold for you, check that no one in your family has already registered with that email address. For example, if you share an email address with your partner, they may have already registered that email for an online account. 

You'll need to enter a secure code which will be sent to your mobile number or landline. This is called Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). When we ask you how you would like to receive a secure code, either via recorded callback or SMS, the last three digits of the phone number we hold for you will be shown on the web page. 

If the number is correct, you can request another code by clicking 'Resend code'.

Please ensure:

• You keep the browser window open while you wait for your secure code to be sent to you by recorded callback or SMS.
• You enter the code promptly once received, as delay could cause the page to time out and invalidate the code.
• You have mobile phone signal if you requested an SMS.
• You are using a UK-based mobile or landline.

For security reasons you need to use the email address we have on our system. Just get in touch with us if you need us to check or update it. 

You won’t be able to register if you don’t have an eligible policy. Our Home Insurance, Home and Lifestyle Insurance, Bespoke Insurance, Car Insurance and Horse and Rider Insurance are all online account eligible policies.

If your policy isn't eligible right now, we'll contact you when it is.

If you policy is eligible, you might not be able to register if your email address or telephone number on our system is out of date.
